ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A fire broke out at a home on the west side of St. Albans Saturday.

The call came in around 7 p.m. for a house fire on Rosedale Drive.

It was a vacant house and two vehicles.

Investigators say the fire is suspicious.

West Side Volunteer Fire Department Chief, Chris Schilling, tells WSAZ the heat made it difficult to fight, so they rotated firefighters frequently.

West Side, Lakewood, Jefferson and Institute Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the fire.
