Investigators believe deadly house fire was an accident
Troopers are investigating a deadly house fire in Martin County, Kentucky.
According to Kentucky State Police, there was a fire around 10:30 Thursday morning. Investigators were told someone was possibly trapped inside.
Crews ended up finding a person inside and the Martin County coroner pronounced the victim dead.
The victim was taken to the medical examiner's office in Frankfort for an autopsy. That's where they will formally identify the person too.
Right now, troopers say it appears this was an accidental death. Detectives and arson investigators are still looking into the official cause.
