Lawrence Co. teen arrested for making threat toward teacher

A 14-year-old is facing charges after making threats of violence directed towards a former teacher at Fallsburg Elementary School.

According to Kentucky State Police, the teen is being held in the Boyd County Juvenile Detention Center.

According to KSP, students at the elementary school reported that a high school student had made threats on the Tuesday evening bus ride home. KSP was contacted by school administrators at Fallsburg Elementary after learning of the threats.

The teen arrested is a student at Lawrence County High School.
