Lawrence County, Kentucky officials confirm first case of COVID-19

LAWRENCE COUNTY, K.Y. (WSAZ) -- Officials in Lawrence County, Kentucky have confirmed the county's first case of COVID-19.

Debbie Miller, Public Health Director of the Lawrence County Health Department, said the risk to the public is low.

Officials say they are working to contact anyone the patient may have come into contact with.

No other information about the case has been released.
