Lincoln Primary Care Center CEO's resignation accepted

The chief executive officer of one of Lincoln County's largest and best known employers has resigned.

Lincoln Primary Care Center CEO Brian Crist had his resignation accepted near the end of a two-hour board meeting Friday, conducted mostly behind closed doors.

The company's risk management officer, Ron Hatfield, also resigned.

The board of director's meeting was the fourth such meeting in 18 days, some lasting more than 13 hours.

Two attorneys were present for Friday's meeting in addition to the board members.

There is no word tonight on the reason for the resignations.
