Major gas leak temporarily shuts down Route 2 in Cabell County

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A major gas leak late Tuesday night temporarily shut down state Route 2 in Guyandotte, according to Cabell County dispatchers.

Dispatchers say natural gas was spewing onto the railroad tracks near the Kennedy Center. The gas company has been called.

The railroad tracks were also shut down in the area.

The incident was reported before 10 p.m.
