UPDATE: Three people escape Charleston house fire
A man was injured after a fire Friday morning in Charleston.
Fire officials tell WSAZ three people were inside a home on Crescent Road when it caught fire.
A husband and wife, along with a friend were able to escape the flames.
Officials say one man suffered 2nd degree burns to his back, but when firefighters went to the hospital to talk to him, he had already checking himself out.
The fire started in a bedroom of the home.
Officials don't believe the fire was suspicious at this time.
The home was destroyed.
Two people escaped their burning home Friday morning.
The fire started about 5:22 a.m. in the 700 block of Crescent Road in Charleston.
Firefighters tell WSAZ a woman arrived home from work to find it on fire.
She was able to get the man inside awake and they were both able to get out safely. No one injured.
The house was destroyed.
Firefighters don't yet know the cause of the fire.
