HURRICANE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested Tuesday night after he fired a shot from a gun during an argument with another man.
According to Hurricane Police Chief W.M. Mullins, no one was injured in the incident that happened behind Hurricane High School.
Chief Mullins says the pair was arguing when Ronald Thompson, of Hurricane, fired a round from a handgun at the ground to scare the person with whom he was arguing.
Thompson will be arraigned in Putnam County and charged with wanton endangerment. He will be taken to the Western Regional Jail.
