KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Troopers need your help finding a man who they say stole a debit card and attempted to use it for hundreds of dollars in purchases.
Investigators say the card was stolen Jan. 12 during a vehicle break-in in the Kanawha State Forest. They say the man has tried to purchase nearly $700 worth of items.
The man also wrote a fraudulent check at the Walmart in Southridge, troopers say.
Anyone with information about the man or the incident is asked to call West Virginia State Police at the South Charleston Detachment.
