UPDATE | Oakhurst Drive back open after motorcycle crash

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) --
Dispatchers say Oakhurst drive in Davis Creek is back open after a motorcycle crash.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

Dispatchers say the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

A motorcyclist is severely injured after a crash in Kanawha County.

Metro 911 dispatchers say Oakhurst Drive in Davis Creek is shut down in the 1800 block. It will stay closed for an unknown amount of time.

It happened shortly before 1 p.m. Friday.

Dispatchers say the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office, the Davis Creek Volunteer Fire Department, and the Alum Creek Volunteer Fire Department are at the scene.
