UPDATE | Motorcyclist hurt in Barboursville crash; U.S. 60 West reopen

U.S. 60 West is back open Tuesday night after a crash earlier that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital near the Kroger store in Barboursville, Cabell County 911 dispatchers say.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. and also involved an SUV.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. He was alert and talking to first responders at the scene.
A motorcyclist was hurt Tuesday night in a crash with an SUV in the 6300 block of U.S. 60, our crew at the scene reports.
That’s directly in front of the Kroger store in that location.
The westbound lanes of U.S. 60 are closed at this time. The accident happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
It is unknown how badly the man was hurt, but he was talking with first responders at the scene. Witnesses say he flipped over the SUV and landed on the pavement. That man was being taken to the hospital.
The crash happened as the SUV was turning from U.S. 60 into the Kroger parking lot.
