HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington firefighters and police both were called Tuesday morning to a downtown Huntington apartment building that has had repeated false call fire alarms, first responders tell WSAZ.
The most recent incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to a maintenance supervisor at the apartment building, located in the 900 block of 5th Avenue, the alarms have been going off five to eight times a day at the 5th Avenue Apartments.
He said Tuesday morning, he saw one of the residents running from the fire alarm pull station just as the alarm went off.
Police were called in to talk to the resident. The resident denied pulling the alarm and said he was just taking out the trash, police say.
