It follows four men for eighteen in Jacob's ladder Rehabilitation center in Aurora, which is a treatment program located on a farm in Preston County. The Documentary comes from Elaine McMillion Sheldon and Kerrin Sheldon. We talked with Dr. Kevin Blankenship, who is the founder of the Rehabilitation Center. He says this documentary shows a different side of addiction.

"Showing the human side of addiction and especially from the view of recovery. I think it is going to really help de-stigmatize with a lot of what we are seeing with addiction, especially in the state of West Virginia, " said rehabilitation founder Dr. Kevin Blankenship.

The film has already been shown at several festivals across the nation, including the Toronto Film Festival.

"The beauty of what Elaine has done has certainly; it is a depressing and tough story to tell, but she does it in such a wonderful, beautiful human way that not only tells these guys story but the story of our state and community," said Dr. Blankenship.

You can catch the documentary now, on Netflix.
