CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A new councilman was sworn in during Tuesday night’s Charleston City Council meeting.
Charles “Rusty” Webb, who is an attorney, will replace John Miller, who resigned earlier this month for health issues.
During his career, Webb has represented Kanawha County in the West Virginia House of Delegates. He also served with the Charleston Urban Renewal Authority.
Mayor Danny Jones said Webb’s experience gives him a solid understanding of the issues facing the city, especially in terms of economic and community development.
