Plane veers off runway at Yeager Airport
Two people escaped injury Friday morning when a private plane veered off the runway at Yeager Aiport, according to an airport news release.
It happened around 6:10 a.m. when the Cirrus SR22T plane went off the runway into grass while taxiing after landing.
The aircraft, which was arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina, sustained superficial damage after hitting a distance-remaining sign. It was removed from the grass by Yeager Airport staff and taken to a hangar.
Airport operations were not affected. The exact cause is under investigation.
