Police: Man shoots himself in the leg in argument over woman

DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Dunbar Police say an argument over a woman led to a man accidentally shooting himself in the leg.

Police say officers responded to Rallows on W. Washington Street in Dunbar about 10:25 a.m. Saturday.

They say two men got into an argument over a woman.

One man allegedly pulled out a club.

The other pulled out a pistol and accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Police say the man had a carry conceal permit.

His injury is not life threatening.

The man who pulled out the club left the scene, but was arrested by police a short time later on unrelated charges.

Charges in this case could be filed.

DUNBAR, W.Va (WSAZ) -- Metro 911 reports that one person has been shot in on Washington Street West in Dunbar.

It happened after 10 a.m. near Rallow's Place.

The Dunbar Police Department is investigating.

The condition of the person who was shot is not yet known
