Police looking for man wanted in connection with murder in two states

DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are looking for a man wanted in connection for murder in two states.

According to Dunbar Police, Otis Anthony Simpson was arrested for fleeing with reckless indifference Sunday.

Investigators say Simpson provided several names that could not be verified so he was booked as John Doe in South Central Regional Jail.

Before he was arraigned, Dunbar Police say he was able to convince authorities his name was Timothy Lawson. They arraigned him and he was released on a $10,000 bond.

It was later determined his real name was Otis Anthony Simpson out of California.

Police say Simpson is wanted for parole violation out of California for murder and he is also a person of interest in a murder investigation out of Kentucky.

Simpson is 5'10" and weighs about 250 lbs.
