One dead after tractor accident in Kanawha County

Poca Fork Road has reopened after a deadly accident involving a tractor Wednesday afternoon.

Poca Fork Road in Frame is shut down after an accident involving a tractor Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department, a 70-year-old man had lost control of his tractor. The tractor rolled down a hillside and crossed the roadway. The tractor then flipped, landing on top of him.

The victim's name has not been released.

One person is dead after a tractor crash in Kanawha County.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office confirmed the death to WSAZ Wednesday afternoon.

Metro 911 dispatchers say the accident happened around 1:40 p.m. in the 900 block of Poca Fork Road in Frame. The road is closed at this time.
