UPDATE | Road in Boyd County back open after high water

A portion of Midland Trail is closed in Boyd County, Kentucky.

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- UPDATE 6/17/19 @ 9 p.m.
A portion of Midland Trail is back open Monday night after being closed earlier in the evening because of high water, Boyd County 911 reports.

The roadway had been closed between Booth Quillen and Shopes Creek Road.

According to a tweet from Boyd County 911, a road is closed because of high water.

The tweet says that the county road department has Midland Trail closed between Booth Quillen and Shopes Creek Road due to high water.

There is no word when the road will reopen.
