UPDATE: Teen arrested after Rock Hill School District in Ohio cancels classes Thursday following threat

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- UPDATE 2/22/18 @ 3:45 a.m.
A juvenile student at Rock Hill High School has been arrested following a threat made to the school.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office says the girl was arrested about 2 Thursday morning, and has admitted her involvement in the threat.

The teen is in the Lawrence County Juvenile Center.

Rock Hill Local Schools are closed Thursday due to the threat.

School will be closed Thursday in the Rock Hill School District after a threat on social media, a school board member said.

That official says "school is cancelled out of an abundance of caution."

Law enforcement has been notified and a person of interest has been identified.

The threat was spread on Facebook.
