According to Mason County dispatch, Burdette Street in the Leon area of Mason County, West Virginia has reopened after a large rockslide on Thursday.

Burdette Street in the Leon area of Mason County, West Virginia is shut down after a large rockslide, according to officials at the Leon Volunteer Fire Department.

Rocks are still actively falling onto the roadway.

Fire officials tell WSAZ rockslides are not common in the area.
