Rt. 3 closed in Boone Co. after mudslide

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Rt. 3 is closed at Drawdy Mountain on the Foster side in Boone County after a mudslide.

Dispatchers believe the slide occurred overnight.

There were no injuries but both lanes are blocked. Power lines were down in the road, too.

Dispatchers told WSAZ just before 8 Tuesday morning that they expect the road to be closed for several hours.
