UPDATE: Rt. 35 reopens in Mason County after tractor trailer fire

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Route 35 between Henderson and Southside in Mason County is back open after a tractor-trailer fire.

The road was closed around 1:40 a.m. Friday morning but reopened around 4 a.m.

It is unclear what the truck was hauling.

No one was injured.

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Rt. 35 is closed between Henderson and Southside in Mason County, after a tractor-trailer fire resulted in a Haz-Mat response.

The fire happened near Lodge Lane about 1:40 Friday morning. The 14-mile stretch of road is closed. Dispatchers were uncertain what the truck was hauling, and it's unknown how long it will take to clean it up.
