KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- UPDATE 3/13/19 @ 11:10 a.m.
Investigators have released the names of the suspects involved in a police chase in a stolen car.
Jonathan Cochran, 27, and Amber Combs, 22, both of Charleston, are facing charges.
Sgt. Brian Humphreys with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office says Cochran was behind the wheel.
Just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, deputies spotted a stolen vehicle near Dupont Middle School. Humphreys tells WSAZ the car was stolen from Charleston in February.
Deputies chased the vehicle from Rand to Belle. The pursuit lasted less than 10 minutes.
The suspects crashed on Quincy Dock Road beneath the Chelyan bridge. That's where officers arrested the pair.
Cochran is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, felony fleeing with reckless endangerment, and a probation violation. Deputies arrested Combs on a capias warrant issued in 2018.
Both suspects are expected to appear in court Wednesday afternoon for arraignment.

A short pursuit ended in a crash in Kanawha County Wednesday morning.
Just before 10 a.m., Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies spotted a stolen vehicle near Dupont Middle School.
The driver took off, later crashing on Quincy Dock Road in Belle.
The chase lasted for less than 10 minutes. Metro 911 dispatchers say the got the call about the pursuit at 9:48 a.m. and they got word of the crash at 9:54 a.m.
Nobody was taken to the hospital. All of the deputies involved are OK.
Investigators have two people detained.
At last check, the road is not closed and there are no traffic issues.
The suspects' names have not been released yet.
