HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (WSAZ) -- A sinkhole opened up on 7th Street near the intersection with 5th Avenue.
Huntington Police blocked off an area around the hole around 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The sinkhole has been measured to be deeper than 3 feet.
Public Works crews have been called to perform repairs.
Traffic is down to one lane on 7th Street.
The hole has been patched as a temporary fix, but will have to repair the sinkhole once the weather improves.
