UPDATE 11/14/17 @ 11:50 a.m.

A teacher has been fired after deputies say she sent numerous nude pictures to several students.

Logan County School Board President Paul Hardesty tells WSAZ Tracy Miller was terminated from her position at a board meeting earlier this month.

Miller was suspended without pay in September after the allegations came to light.

Administrators told deputies they were approached by a student who said he had pictures of the teacher saved on his phone.

A school public resource officer interviewed the student, who showed the officer the pictures on his phone.

Deputies say they also interviewed Miller, who admitted to sending the photos.

She said most of the photos had been sent through a social media app. She told deputies she could not remember how many photos she sent but that she had possibly sent them to as many as five students.

ORIGINAL STORY 9/1/17

A teacher has been arrested and suspended without pay from her position after deputies say she sent numerous nude pictures to several students.

Logan County Sheriff's deputies say Tracy Miller, 27, was arrested Friday on three counts of distribution of obscene matter to minors.

Miller was arraigned on the charges and released on bond.

Investigators say the arrest comes after deputies were contacted Thursday by administrators at Logan High School concerning the possibility of a teacher sending nude photos to students over the span of several months.

Deputies say they are trying to locate additional students or individuals who may have received the inappropriate photos.

Miller has been an employee at the school since January.

Logan County School released the following statement:

"We are dealing with the situation by following county policy governing Employee Code of Conduct. The teacher in question has been suspended at this time."
