UPDATE | Fire destroys home in Putnam County, W.Va.

Fire destroyed a home Friday afternoon along Sycamore Road in the Hurricane area, our crew at the scene says.
It was reported just before 3:30 p.m., and heavy smoke was still visible around 5 p.m.
Hurricane Volunteer Fire Department had mutual aid from Teays Valley and Culloden departments. Nearly 25 firefighters battled the fire in the 90-degree-plus heat.
At least five engines were still there just after 5 p.m.
One person was home at the time but was able to make it out OK.
The cause is unknown at this time, but firefighters say the fire started in the lower level of the home.
Crews are on the scene of a house fire in Putnam County.
Putnam County 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ they got a call just before 3:30 p.m. Friday about a fire at a home on Sycamore Road in the Hurricane area.
Hurricane, Teays Valley and Culloden fire departments are all on scene.
No injuries have been reported.
