ORIGINAL STORY 3/9/16 @ 7:02 a.m.
PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A tractor trailer turned onto its side, spilling thousands of clear, plastic vials across the Route 35 entrance to the Buffalo Bridge.

The Buffalo Bridge is closed while crews work to remove the semi and cleanup the debris. Route 35 is still open.

The accident was first reported about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The semi first hit the guardrail by the Route 35 entrance to the Buffalo Bridge, then turned onto its side. The top of semi split during the crash, spilling several containers from the hold. Those containers then busted, leaving clear, plastic vials spread across the road.

No word on if anyone inside the tractor trailer was injured during the accident.
