UPDATE: Truck driver killed in collision with train

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man died Friday night after his truck was hit by a train.
The Greenup County Coroner's Office says Jerry Brown, 74, of Worthington, was killed after trying to cross the tracks going from Wurtland Avenue to Riverside Drive in the Wurtland area.
That is when Police say his truck was hit by an Amtrak train heading west on the CSX Rail Line.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene by the Greenup County Coroner and his body was sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
The Greenup County Coroner and Raceland Police Department are still investigating the crash.
GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- One person has died after a train versus vehicle crash in the Wurtland area of Greenup County according to Raceland Police.
About 10:30 p.m. Friday a truck was crossing railroad tracks at Wurtland Ave. when police say it was hit by an Amtrak train.
The truck was knocked from the tracks into the front yard of a house.
Only one person was in the truck. That driver died in the incident.
Police say it appears that the railroad lights and crossing gates were working.
Officers are working to notify the victim's family.
CSX officials say there were 73 passengers on the train. The train was at the scene for several hours after the incident but has now left.

Raceland Police are on the scene.
