UPDATE: Mother missing from Logan County found, troopers say

LOGAN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- UPDATE 8/22/18 @ 8:44 p.m.
A mom from Logan County who has was last seen on July 30 has been found and is safe, according to West Virginia State Police.

Troopers did not release any other information about where Julie Young was found.

Investigators say she was last seen on July 30 at a gas station on Dingus Street in Logan. A family member reported her missing a little more than a week later.

Troopers said she has a 15-year-old son who she keeps in close contact with, and not communicating with him was unusual behavior for her.

A mom from Logan County is missing according to West Virginia State Police.

Troopers say Julie Young, a mom, has been missing for more than a week and may be in danger.

Investigators say she was last seen on July 30 at a gas station on Dingus Street in Logan. A family member reported Young missing on Aug. 9.

Young is 5'7" and approximately 120 pounds. She has brown hair and three stars tattooed on the right of her face as well as several large tattoos on her back.

"Ms. Young has a 15-year-old son that she keeps in close contact with so this is unusual behavior for her," troopers said.
