UPDATE | Man's name released in suspected Boone County homicide

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- UPDATE 8/12/19 @ 4:20 p.m.
The name of a man who died in a suspected homicide in the Peytona area has been released.

Troopers are investigating a suspected homicide in Boone County, West Virginia. (Source: MGN)

Siegel Kinder, 74, of Peytona, was the victim, according to West Virginia State Police. Investigators say Kinder had been shot.

Kinder's body was found around 1 p.m. Sunday along state Route 3, just across from the road from an old family cemetery.

Troopers are investigating a suspected homicide in Boone County, West Virginia.

A man was found dead Sunday afternoon in the Peytona area, according to West Virginia State Police.
