UPDATE: Man arrested for Putnam County truck theft

South Charleston Police recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested a man in connection with the truck theft Friday night, according to troopers in Putnam County.

Police arrested John Rawlings for possession of the stolen vehicle. Rawlings faces a grand larceny charge.

Troopers say the suspect was caught on surveillance footage at Town and Country Supply, a feed supply store in Nitro, stealing the company pick-up truck. It happened Thursday night.

South Charleston Police found the truck at the South Charleston Community Center just before 10:30 p.m. Friday.

State Police in Putnam County are looking for a suspect involved in connection with a truck theft from a Nitro business.

Troopers say the suspect is caught on surveillance footage at Town and Country Supply, a feed supply store, stealing the company pick-up truck.

The truck is a 2008 Chevrolet 3500 with the West Virginia registration B250964.

The truck is white with red door stickers, but the stickers are magnetic and can be removed.
