UPDATE: CPD looking for suspect in BB gun shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police have named a suspect wanted in a Wednesday afternoon BB gun shooting in Charleston.

Charleston Police Lt. Steve Cooper says they are looking for Robert Jarvis, 57, from Charleston.

Police say two people were hit multiple times with shots fired from a BB gun around 1 p.m. Wednesday on Hillcrest Drive. One man was hit in the eye and a woman had a BB lodged in her arm.

Police say there was an altercation prior to the shooting and that the person responsible knew the victims.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people are recovering from minor injuries after being shot with a BB gun multiple times.

Charleston Police say the incident happened along Hillcrest Drive on the West Side just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

One man was shot in the eye and a woman was shot all over her body.

Police say one BB lodged into her arm. Both of them were taken to the hospital.

Police say there was an altercation prior to the shooting and that the person responsible knew the victims.

Police believe drugs were involved in the incident.
