W.Va. boy battling cancer meets Tom Brady after Patriots practice at The Greenbrier

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It was a day on West Virginia boy will never forget.

Gabe Lester is 11-years-old and was diagnosed with cancer in 2011.

Tom Brady is a five-time Super Bowl champion.

On Wednesday, they were just two guys on the football field.

Gabe got to meet his hero and favorite football player Wednesday after a New England Patriots' joint practice with the Houston Texans at The Greenbrier.

Gabe visited the practice Wednesday afternoon after undergoing chemotherapy earlier in the day.

Brady met Gabe and signed a jersey, hat and had a conversation with Gabe and his family.
