UPDATE: Police looking for gunman in Charleston shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- UPDATE 2/12/19 @ 3:09 p.m.
Police are looking for the person who shot a woman on the east end of Charleston.

According to the Charleston Police Department, the victim has non-life-threatening injuries after being shot once in the leg.

It happened just after 1 p.m. inside a building in the 1300 block of Renaissance Circle.

The victim was taken to CAMC General.

No arrests have been made yet.

Police officers are at an apartment complex in Charleston where a woman called 911 after being shot.

911 dispatchers say the woman was shot in the leg. It happened just after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim did not give dispatch information about a suspect. It's unclear if a shooter is in custody.

Paramedics have not taken anyone to the hospital.

According to dispatchers, the victim called 911 from the office of an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Renaissance Circle.

Charleston Police, Charleston Fire, and the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority are on scene.
