Timberwolves prep for State Championship game

Huntington, WV The undefeated and 2nd ranked Spring Valley Timberwolves can't afford to waste practice time this week. With that Coach Brad Dingess brought his T'wolves to Marshall's Rec Center turf field to practice on Tuesday, even though a quick snowfall made the going tricky.

"This is wild I don't think we've ever practiced in weather like this," Spring Valley senior Graeson Malashevich said. "But being in the indoor (Chris Cline Athletic Indoor Facility) will help us a lot, we just want to stay on the turf and stay on clean grass this week so we can go over things just as a normal work week would go."

Spring Valley and Martinsburg will meet for the 3rd consecutive year in the Class AAA title game Saturday at Noon. Martinsburg won the first two meetings.
