Neighbor Feud Ends In Murder

Testimony started Thursday morning in the case of a man accused of killing two neighbors.

Police say Clyde Reddicks and his wife, Kathy, shot and killed Jeff Flaugher and Teresa Leadingham in July of 2004.

The killings took place in Carter County, Kentucky, but the trial was moved to Winchester because of too much pre-trial publicity.

Police say the crime involved a neighborhood feud that escalated to murder.

Attorneys for Reddicks say the Vietnam War veteran snapped after feeling pushed to respond.

Reddicks could face the death penalty if convicted of the murders.

On Wednesday, Kathy Reddicks pleaded guilty to murder.
