CINCINNATI (AP) -- Officials say one person died and another person was injured late Monday night when a highway overpass collapsed in Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that, according to a police dispatch, that southbound Interstate 75 was closed indefinitely after the collapse of an overpass north of the old Hopple Street bridge.
It happened about 10:30 p.m. Monday. The newspaper reports at least one tractor-trailer was damaged by the collapse.
Fire and EMS officials say one construction worker was killed and a tractor-trailer driver was injured.
