UPDATE: State Route 73 in Scioto County Reopens Following Wreck

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- State Route 73 is back open after a crash early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened about 1:15 a.m. just west of Rarden. The crash was about a mile away from the Adams County line.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer was involved in the crash. The driver was not injured.

The road reopened around 11:30 a.m.

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- An Ohio Highway Patrol dispatcher told WSAZ.com that State Route 73 will be shut down at least until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The dispatcher said a tractor trailer crashed about 1:15 a.m. just west of Rarden. It's about a mile from the Adams County line.

The driver wasn't injured.

The truck's load has to be off-loaded to another tractor trailer and the dispatcher said that could take awhile.

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A wreck involving a tractor trailer has shut down all lanes of State Route 73 in both directions in Rarden, Ohio near State Route 348.

Investigators say it happened about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday and that the driver wasn't hurt. But the truck's contents need to be unloaded and then moved onto another tractor trailer, a process dispatchers say could cause the road to remain closed well into Wednesday morning.
