CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Food trucks, vendors, and live music were out at Charleston’s Slack Plaza for the MADFEST 6 Mental Health Awareness Festival.

Besides the good cause people were showing out for and the wide selection of food, there were performances from some great bands, including Elkriver Road, Relative Obscurity, and many more.

“It’s so great to they’re supporting our cause,” said Kyle Slate, Captain for Mountain Artists Democracy. “We’re seeing the community come together to support the arts and their family.”

All proceeds from MADFEST 6 go to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in West Virginia.
