Music festival celebrates business growth in Elk City

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - In the Capitol city on Saturday, one neighborhood was a bit louder than usual. The Wine Down, a wine bar in Charleston, wanted to celebrate business growth in Elk City by putting on an all day outdoor music festival.

The festival started around noon and went until 5:00 p.m. with people from all over the area coming not just to enjoy the music, but all Elk City has to offer.

“We wanted to do it as a community and a district,” said Robin Silvester, co-owner of The Wine Down. “We want people to check out Elk City and see all the restaurants, all of everything we have to offer.”
