World Festival 2026 at the South Charleston Farmers Market

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The South Charleston Farmer’s Market sends guests and their taste bids on a culinary journey across the globe, Saturday.

The 2026 World Festival brings together food from Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, and so many other places.

The program was thrown by the University of Charleston’s Global Student Organization, aiming to celebrate the world at large.

“Ten years ago was my first World Fest,” said Violetta Petrosyan, Director of International Students at the University of Charleston. “Today is the celebration of all the accomplishments and experiences that we’ve gained during those years.”

As if great food isn’t enough, World Festival also brought in an international assortment of music.
