James Olah

James Olah joined WSAZ as a Media Executive in 2025. A Charleston native, James is a graduate of West Virginia State University’s College of Arts and Humanities, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing with an emphasis in video production.

A former National Broadcasting Society Filmmaker of the Year (2015), James brings a creative, message‑driven approach to his work. He enjoys collaborating closely with clients to shape compelling and effective messaging for broadcast.

Outside of the station, James is a dedicated family man who loves spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their daughter, Isabella. You can often find them watching a Marvel movie together or cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
