HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The 63rd annual Fire Prevention Parade rolled through downtown Huntington Monday evening.
This year’s theme was “Don’t Wait, Check the Date,” referring to a reminder to replace smoke alarms every 10 years. Firefighters also emphasize the importance of changing smoke detector batteries regularly.
Monday evening, sirens blared along the parade route down 4th Avenue as firefighters and the crowd welcomed a fall tradition.
