UPDATE | Man arrested in deadly hit-and-run

A family finally has some relief after a fatal hit and run crash in Wayne County that happened the day before Memorial Day.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department and the FBI had been hunting for the suspect, Ance Marcum, for 10 days, and they finally found him Tuesday hiding in a closet near Fallsburg, Kentucky.
"They really oughta had a heart and stopped," Patricia Hardman said.
Patricia Hardman and her daughter Elizabeth had just gotten home that evening when they witnessed the fatal crash, made all the more sickening because they say the driver who caused it took off.
"It's heartless," Patricia said. "It's gutless. If they did look back, they didn't care."
They say 63-year-old Jesse Dingess was on a side-by-side ATV signalling to turn left at an intersection on Route 152 in Genoa, when the suspect's car hit it from behind.
Elizabeth says Dingess's ATV rolled, and she grabbed towels and tried to help stop the bleeding.
"I held him until the ambulance came," Elizabeth said.
Dingess's son-in-law tells WSAZ eight friends and family members were riding ATV's with Dingess at the time and witnessed the crash.
The son-in-law says he chased the suspect after he fled the scene, but his ATV wasn't fast enough to keep up, and the suspect got away.
"If I was going to charge somebody like that," Patricia said, "I'd put the hanging back, because nobody should have to go through that."
Dingess's family and witnesses say it's been torment knowing the person responsible was free, and hearing the suspect was finally caught comes as a great relief.
Marcum is being charged with involuntary manslaughter, negligent homicide, and leaving the scene of an accident, according to the Wayne County sheriff.
Dingess was a retired coal miner. His funeral was held Sunday.
