Ronald McDonald House raffle winner celebrated new truck

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va . (WSAZ) - The Ronald McDonald House of Huntington celebrated Andrew Kinsey’s win in the Chilifest truck raffle today at Victory Toyota in Barboursville.

Kinsey won a brand-new Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport in the raffle. The pickup is valued at more than $60,000.

“I thought I was getting pranked. I had about eight missed calls. And, you know, it’s close to, you know, voting. And I thought it was maybe a political call. And it ended up being probably the best phone call that I screened in my life. So, very, very happy when I found out, you know, that I’d won a car. They’ve been doing this for, you know, a long time. And they help out a lot of people in the community. And so it was a no-brainer for me to participate in and buy those raffle tickets,” Kinsey said.

The annual raffle helps the Ronald McDonald House of Huntington provide a home away from home for families whose children are receiving medical care.
